Softball Recap: Battery Creek Comes Up Short

Battery Creek lost against Hanahan last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Battery Creek lost 13-1 to Hanahan. The Dolphins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Battery Creek saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Stella Schubert, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Battery Creek's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Hanahan, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Battery Creek will venture away from home to challenge Colleton County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hanahan, they will head out to take on Orangeburg-Wilkinson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
