Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McKinleyville). They blew past the Lower Lake Trojans 16-3 on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won three in a row.

The victory got McKinleyville back to even at 5-5. As for Lower Lake, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

McKinleyville will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Fortuna at 4:00 p.m. on April 9. As for Lower Lake, they will challenge Fort Bragg at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lower Lake's pitchers better be ready for this one: Fort Bragg has averaged an impressive 16.5 runs per game this season.
