Soccer Game Preview: Hillsboro vs. Gallia Academy

The Hillsboro Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Gallia Academy Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Hillsboro had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the eight-goal drubbing they dealt New Lexington on Wednesday. The Indians never let the Panthers get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. Kobie Miles was a massive factor in the win as she booted in four goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Gallia Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Pointers as they made off with an 8-0 victory. Gallia Academy's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Gallia Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-3-2. As for Hillsboro, they now have a winning record of 9-8-1.
