Buford put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed past the Mountain View Bears to the tune of 55-7. With the Wolves ahead 48-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Buford had a senior duo take command as Dayton Raiola threw for 129 yards and one TD and Torre Costin rushed for 49 yards and one score. Will Wyatt was in the mix too, providing the Wolves with one touchdown.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Buford proved: they limited Mountain View to a paltry 2.5 yards per carry. While three picked up at least six total tackles, Dre Quinn stood above the rest. He made six total tackles (3.0 for loss). Buford didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 7.3.

Buford didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jameer Cantrell and Brendon Davis. Cantrell got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Buford's record is now 9-0. As for Mountain View, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Coming up, Buford will square off against Mill Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves' defense better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 31.1 points per game this season. Mountain View does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
