Softball Recap: Uniontown Comes Up Short

Uniontown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 6-2 to the West Mifflin Titans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Raiders of the 10-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Uniontown saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Graci Rodeheaver, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Juliet White also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Uniontown's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for West Mifflin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Uniontown will square off against Ringgold at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Mifflin, they will challenge East Allegheny at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
