Volleyball Recap: Cascade Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Cascade was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Horseshoe Bend Mustangs, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-6, 25-6, 25-13.

Cascade's offense was headlined by Addie Hull and Devyn Johnson, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Lauren Taylor and her four assists. Finally, Hull was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Cascade's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Horseshoe Bend, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Cascade is set to square off against their familiar foe Garden Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Horseshoe Bend will face off against rival Tri-Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
