South-Doyle hadn't done well against Heritage recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Cherokees walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Mountaineers. This was a revenge game for the Cherokees: when they faced off against the Mountaineers on Wednesday, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.
