Basketball Recap: West Limestone Takes a Loss

West Limestone's tournament run continued when they took on Vinemont on Friday. The game between the West Limestone Wildcats and the Vinemont Eagles didn't end well, with the West Limestone Wildcats falling 61-47. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 271st, while the Eagles are ranked 40th).

West Limestone has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Vinemont, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-3.

West Limestone wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 90-35 loss against Mars Hill Bible on the 30th. As for Vinemont, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-61 defeat against Decatur on the 30th.
