Football Game Preview: Liberty Lancers vs. Air Academy Kadets + Official Tickets

The Liberty Lancers will face off against the Air Academy Kadets at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Liberty is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Vista Ridge on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Lancers took a blow against the Wolves, falling 42-7. The Lancers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three games, Air Academy finally came back down to earth on Friday. They were dealt a 42-0 defeat at the hands of Palmer Ridge. The Kadets have struggled against the Bears recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Air Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Things could have been worse for Liberty, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 14-0 loss to Air Academy in their previous meeting back in October of 2024.
