Basketball Recap: Riverdale Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Riverdale was the 77-50 winner over Ravenwood when they last played one another back in March of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors took a 56-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raptors on Tuesday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Riverdale saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Rylee Stirbens posted 13 points and six boards. Stirbens also set a new season-high mark in shooting accuracy with 60%. Madison Taylor was another key player, putting up 13 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals.

Riverdale's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Ravenwood, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Riverdale will head out on the road to face off against Eagleville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ravenwood, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Hickman County at 6:00 p.m.
