Baseball Game Preview: Cloudland Highlanders vs. Lee Generals

The Cloudland Highlanders will head out on the road to challenge the Lee Generals at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Cloudland has given up an average of 19 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Cloudland came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Happy Valley, falling 18-5.

Walker Gouge made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Lee lost 15-4 to Abingdon on Friday. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lee's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Cloudland, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-13.
