Football Game Preview: Winthrop Ramblers vs. Maranacook Black Bears + How To Watch

The Winthrop Ramblers will challenge the Maranacook Black Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Winthrop's defense has only allowed 5.6 points per game this season, so Maranacook's offense will have their work cut out for them.

On Friday, Winthrop didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Mt. Blue, but they still walked away with a 13-7 win. Those 13 points were actually the fewest the Ramblers have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Maranacook, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They breezed past Maine Central Institute to the tune of 42-8 on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Black Bears needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Winthrop's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Maranacook, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.
