Basketball Recap: Front Range Christian Comes Up Short

Front Range Christian was the 43-27 winner over Estes Park when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Front Range Christian Falcons took a 40-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Estes Park Bobcats. The Falcons' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Estes Park was led to victory by Marli Davis and Abigail Watry. Davis posted 15 points, while Watry earned 14 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Davis has scored at least a third of Estes Park's points.

Front Range Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Estes Park, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Front Range Christian will face off against Belleview Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Front Range Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Estes Park, they will challenge Clear Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Estes Park is facing Clear Creek at the right time seeing as Clear Creek is stuck on a 19-game losing streak.
