Recap: Harker Heights Knights vs. Kingwood Park Panthers        
        
		
            
 The Harker Heights Knights entered their tilt with the Kingwood Park Panthers with two consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with three. Harker Heights came out on top against Kingwood Park by a score of  48-39  on Friday. Given Harker Heights' advantage  in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings  (they are ranked 353rd, while Kingwood Park is ranked 731st), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 When it comes to explaining why Kingwood Park lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Aniah Cross. Despite the final result, she  scored 26 points. Another player making a difference was  Arleigh Doehring, who  scored 6 points.
 Harker Heights' win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Kingwood Park,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 5-7.
 Harker Heights' road trip will continue as they head out to face Dickinson at 12:30  p.m.  on December 2nd. Dickinson has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 179 points over their last three contests. As for Kingwood Park, they will square off against Tomball Memorial at 9:30  a.m.  on Saturday. Hopefully Tomball Memorial focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 12 on Friday.
