Judah Christian came into Wednesday's matchup having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Arcola Purple Riders on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tribe also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Judah Christian easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-13.

Avoni Kelly paced Judah Christian's offense, picking up four kills. Kelly got some help from Mackenzie Jackson and her 15 assists. Kelly also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Lydia Daily, each putting up three.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 9-10. As for Arcola, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-17.

Looking ahead, Judah Christian will venture away from home to face off against DeLand-Weldon at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Arcola, they will welcome Oakland/Kansas/Shiloh at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
