Soccer Recap: Pinewood Prep Beats Philip Simmons for Their Third Straight Win

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pinewood Prep). Everything went their way against the Philip Simmons Iron Horses on Thursday as the Pinewood Prep Panthers made off with a 6-0 victory. It was an even better day for Paisleigh Dasinger as she scored four goals for her team.

The win was the third in a row for Pinewood Prep, bringing their record for this year to 4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Philip Simmons, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pinewood Prep will head out to square off against Palmetto Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Pinewood Prep will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each matchup than the last. As for Philip Simmons, they will venture away from home to challenge Woodland at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give Philip Simmons their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
