Baldwin is a perfect 5-0 against Griffin since January of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Baldwin Braves just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Griffin Bears at 3:00 p.m. Baldwin is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.2 points per game this season.

Baldwin was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Aquinas on Friday. Baldwin was the clear victor by a 65-42 margin over Aquinas.

Baldwin's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Deven Nelson, who posted 15 points and three steals. Jared Mundie was another key player, going 6 for 11 to rack up 12 points and five steals.

Baldwin smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in eight consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Griffin entered their tilt with Jonesboro on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cardinals, sneaking past 59-57.

Baldwin pushed their record up to 18-6 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Griffin, their record is now 16-8.

Baldwin came out on top in a nail-biter against Griffin in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, sneaking past 56-53. Will Baldwin repeat their success, or does Griffin have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
