Baseball Recap: Coral Reef Comes Up Short

Coral Reef came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 9-1 to the Hialeah Gardens Gladiators. If the Barracudas were looking for revenge after losing 10-5 to the Gladiators when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Coral Reef's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Hialeah Gardens, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Coral Reef and Hialeah Gardens are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Barracudas will face off against Southwest at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hialeah Gardens, they will take on Goleman at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
