Iliana Cordova was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 12 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Cordova was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring five runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, Zo? Mangrum and Sienna Sturgis did most of the damage at the plate: Mangrum fired off two home runs, five additional RBI, and two additional runs while going 5-for-5, while Sturgis went 4-for-5 with four runs, five RBI, and a double.
