John Jay waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the North Rockland Raiders by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

John Jay was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 13-25, 25-15, 25-15.

Peyton Kellam paced John Jay's offense, picking up 20 kills. Kellam got some help from Margaret Bojarczuk and her 39 assists. Bojarczuk also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Lilliana Bojarczuk, each putting up four.

John Jay's victory bumped their record up to 18-3-1. As for North Rockland, their defeat ended an eight-match streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. John Jay will welcome Clarkstown South at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Rockland, they will challenge Ketcham at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Storm have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
