Game recap: El Segundo High School Football Team beats South

El Segundo (Calif.) and South (Torrance, Calif.) couldn't stop each other, but eventually El Segundo (Calif.) came away with the 59-34 victory.

The Eagles scored 21 points in the first quarter on two passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown.

After taking the lead on a passing touchdown in the first quarter, El Segundo led 34-14 at the half.

ES expanded its lead to 24 points entering the fourth quarter. The Eagles scored three times in the third, including once on a field goal by Gabriel Rocha.

With the win El Segundo extended its winning streak to five games. El Segundo defeated Centennial 34-20 last week.
