Volleyball Recap: Miller Comes Up Short

After flying high against Millersport last Thursday, Miller came back down to earth. The Falcons came up short against the Trimble Tomcats on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Falcons have struggled against the Tomcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Miller was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-22, 25-12.

Miller's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Trimble, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Miller will head out to square off against Bishop Rosecrans at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Trimble, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Eastern at 6:00 p.m.
