Volleyball Recap: Fitch Comes Up Short

Fitch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Westerly Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-20, 25-19.

Fitch's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Westerly, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fitch will host Woodstock Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Westerly, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Barrington at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
