South Lyon has gone 8-1 against Walled Lake Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Lions will head out on the road to take on the Vikings at 4:00 p.m. Walled Lake Central took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on South Lyon, who comes in off a win.

On Monday, South Lyon made easy work of Franklin and carried off a 14-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won eight games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Walled Lake Central fell victim to Woodhaven and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Vikings were not able to get on the board.

South Lyon has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Walled Lake Central, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-7.

South Lyon took their victory against Walled Lake Central in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 16-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
