Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Atchison). They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wyandotte Bulldogs on Tuesday, sneaking past 4-3. This was payback for Atchison, who suffered a 1-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Atchison now has a winning record of 2-1-1. As for Wyandotte, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Atchison will square off against Bonner Springs on Monday. Bonner Springs will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Atchison surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wyandotte, they will challenge Sumner Academy on Friday. Sumner Academy have yet to allow a single goal through six games this season, a streak Wyandotte will look to end.
