Basketball Recap: Monahans Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kermit, Monahans was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They skirted past the Pecos Eagles 39-36. For the Loboes, this counts as revenge for the 43-32 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Monahans' victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-15. As for Pecos, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monahans will welcome Fort Stockton at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pecos, they will square off against Andrews at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
