Basketball Recap: Make It Ten in a Row for Coon Rapids-Bayard

Coon Rapids-Bayard hadn't done well against CAM recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders came out on top against the CAM Cougars by a score of 44-37. The victory was familiar territory for the Crusaders who have now won ten matches in a row.

Coon Rapids-Bayard's win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for CAM, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6.

Coon Rapids-Bayard will square off against St. Edmond at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for CAM, they will face off against Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something CAM surely won't give up without a fight.
