Volleyball Recap: Valley Lutheran Comes Up Short at Home Against Fort Thomas

Valley Lutheran unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Fort Thomas Apaches on Wednesday. The Flames have struggled against the Apaches recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Valley Lutheran will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Arete Prep at 6:00 p.m. on September 8. As for Fort Thomas, they will head out on the road to square off against Pima at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
