Basketball Recap: Leake Academy Takes Down Pillow Academy in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Leake Academy walked away with it. They walked away with a 48-38 victory over the Pillow Academy Mustangs on Friday. The Rebels haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Leake Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sarah Prince led the charge by going 5 of 6 to rack up 12 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The dominant performance also gave Prince a new career-high in field goal percentage (83%). Another player making a difference was Hannah Clark, who posted eight points.

Leake Academy's victory bumped their record up to 31-2. As for Pillow Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 20-7.
