Softball Recap: Racine Case Eagles vs. Oak Creek Knights

Racine Case extended their losing streak to five on Monday, dropping their season record down to 6-10 in the process. They lost 11-1 to the Oak Creek Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in April.

Racine Case saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nora Lowney, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

As for Oak Creek, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-6. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won 11 contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

On Oak Creek's side, they got a massive performance out of Claire Mank, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that Mank has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Rita Sippy, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

Coincidentally, Racine Case and Oak Creek will both be playing Kenosha Bradford the next time they take the field. The Knights will head out to face the Red Devils at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Eagles will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
