Soccer Recap: Cary Takes a Loss

Cary was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panther Creek Catamounts. The Imps were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Catamounts apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Cary's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Panther Creek, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Cary is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will take on Apex at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Apex is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.5 goals per game this season. As for Panther Creek, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Green Level at 6:30 p.m. Green Level's last five matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
