Soccer Recap: Estes Park Comes Up Short

Estes Park lost against Denver Academy back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bobcats came up short against the Mustangs, falling 6-1. Estes Park were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Mathias Westley, which was the first he's scored this season.

Estes Park's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Denver Academy, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 2-6-2.

Estes Park wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 9-0 loss against Twin Peaks Classical Academy on the 1st. As for Denver Academy, they have also already played their next match, a 7-2 victory against Front Range Baptist on the 29th.
