Volleyball Recap: Lakeside Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Holy Names Academy, Lakeside was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Issaquah Eagles. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-16, 17-25, 25-20, 25-21.

Lakeside's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Issaquah, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-2.

Lakeside didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Eastside Catholic on the 17th. As for Issaquah, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Mercer Island on the 18th.
