Volleyball Recap: Emersyn Jaeger Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Alliance

Columbus' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emersyn Jaeger led the charge by getting 12 digs. Jaeger is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sachy Rodriguez, who had 11 digs.

Columbus' victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Alliance, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Columbus has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Northwest on the 27th. As for Alliance, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Hastings on the 27th.
