Softball Recap: Dixie Flyers vs. Hurricane Tigers

Dixie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hurricane Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Dixie of the 11-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Tuesday.

Morgan Staheli put in work no matter where she played. She pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off six hits. Staheli was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
