Soccer Game Preview: Dymally vs. Hawkins

The Dymally Challengers will venture away from home to challenge the Hawkins Hawks at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

Dymally is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They and Dorsey finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Hawkins was not quite Jordan's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1. The Hawks' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Hawkins' loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 11-4. With that draw, Dymally's record moves to 0-2-2.

Dymally skirted past Hawkins 2-1 when the teams last played back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dymally since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
