            Volleyball Recap: St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs vs. Analy Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            
If St. Vincent de Paul was riding high  fresh off their  3-0 takedown of Elsie Allen last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs fell just short of the Analy Tigers by a score of  3-2 on Tuesday. While the Mustangs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Tigers  25-19 in the first  set.
 St. Vincent de Paul started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 19-25, 18-25, 25-14, 25-18,  15-7.
 Analy's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Devyn Gray, who  had 22  digs and three  aces. That's the most  aces  Gray has posted since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Isabella Romine, who  had 22  assists and 11  digs.
St. Vincent de Paul has  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record  this season. As for Analy, the  victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-8.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. St. Vincent de Paul is set to  take on  their familiar foe Healdsburg  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Analy will  challenge  rival Rancho Cotate  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
