LaBelle scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 64-54 to the Estero Wildcats. The Cowboys/Cowgirls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.

It was another big night for Amiya Lewis, who went 14 of 27 on her way to 37 points and eight boards for Estero. Lewis' evening made it 16 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Rayne Woods was another key player, going 6 for 14 en route to 14 points and five rebounds.

LaBelle's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Estero, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-5.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. LaBelle has already played their next contest (against Lemon Bay), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Estero won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Bonita Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Estero's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
