While American Fork didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Davis Darts by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Cavemen in their matchups with the Darts: they've now won three in a row.

Macy Melville paced American Fork's offense, picking up 12 kills. Melville got some help from Ellie Dickey and her 13 assists. Melville was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

American Fork's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Davis, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

American Fork wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Weber on the 6th. As for Davis, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Mountain Crest on the 6th.
