Volleyball Recap: Achievement First Providence Find Success

The Achievement First Providence Falcons earned a 3-1 win over Block Island on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Achievement First Providence had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-16, 25-19, 25-19.

Jonathan Lopez was the offensive standout of the contest as he had 12 digs and three assists. Those three assists gave him a new career-high.

Achievement First Providence was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. They are 9-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Achievement First Providence's record now sits at 10-6. As for Block Island, they dropped their record down to 0-13 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

As of now, neither Achievement First Providence nor Block Island have any future games scheduled.
