Hale Ray scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 72-53 bruising from the Valley Regional Warriors. The Noises' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Valley Regional's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Dolinsky, who went 10 of 23 en route to 30 points. Those 30 points gave Dolinsky a new career-high. Rex Grabowski was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds.

Hale Ray's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Valley Regional, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-5.

Hale Ray didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-47 loss against Cromwell on the 13th. Valley Regional has also already played their next match, a 64-49 defeat against Old Saybrook on the 13th.
