Soccer Game Preview: Reavis vs. Richards

Reavis has gone a perfect 8-0 against Richards recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Rams will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Reavis and Blue Island Eisenhower meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Rams' defense stepped up to hand the Cardinals a 2-0 shutout.

Alessen Quinones and Alysson Mendoza scored both of Reavis' goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Richards). They blew past Rich Township 9-0 on Friday. The win continues a trend for Richards in their matchups with Rich Township: they've now won five in a row.

The victory got Richards back to even at 8-8. As for Reavis, their win bumped their record up to 10-8-1.

Everything went Reavis' way against Richards when the teams last played back in May of 2025, as Reavis made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
