Baseball Recap: Golden Valley Comes Up Short

Golden Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 10-0 to the Tehachapi Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-0 on Tuesday.

Golden Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17-1. As for Tehachapi, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

Golden Valley will square off against Foothill at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season. As for Tehachapi, they will face off against East Bakersfield at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
