Basketball Recap: Jaiden Simpson Key Part of a Team Effort in Colts Win

Still Creek Christian won the last time they faced Banff and things went their way on Saturday too. The Still Creek Christian Colts walked away with a 45-34 win over the Banff Bears. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Colts.

Still Creek Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaiden Simpson, who posted eight points along with seven assists and six boards. Those seven assists gave Simpson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Walton, who had ten points.

Still Creek Christian's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Banff, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

Still Creek Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 46-44 victory against Humble Christian on the 11th. As for Banff, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cornerstone Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
