Lakeside School waltzed into their game on Friday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over Hope Christian Academy. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-2 on Friday.

Carson Scott spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on five hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Conner Britton, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Mark Bullock, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Lakeside School's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 28-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Hope Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-5.
