Howell put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Lindbergh Flyers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2022.

Howell pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Lindbergh, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Howell will host Christian Brothers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lindbergh, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Point at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Point will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Lindbergh surely won't give up without a fight.
