Volleyball Recap: Madisonville-North Hopkins Starts off Right with Win over Heritage Christian Academy

Madisonville-North Hopkins had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Heritage Christian Academy Warriors. This was payback for the Maroons, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Madisonville-North Hopkins had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-21.

Allison Craft and Bralee Fowler certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Craft had 15 digs and three aces, while Fowler had 13 digs, 11 kills, and four aces.

Looking ahead, Madisonville-North Hopkins will face off against Union County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Hopkinsville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
