Basketball Recap: West Logan Christian Academy Falls to Mount Hope Christian Academy in First Game of Season

West Logan Christian Academy kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They were outmatched by Mount Hope Christian Academy and fell 67-28. If West Logan Christian Academy was looking for revenge after losing 84-51 to Mount Hope Christian Academy when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mount Hope Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was RYAN PERRY, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 boards. PERRY is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was TALAN CARON, who dropped a double-double with ten rebounds and 12 assists.

Mount Hope Christian Academy has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

West Logan Christian Academy and Mount Hope Christian Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Warriors see the court they'll take on Bloomingdale on December 4. As for Mount Hope Christian Academy, their break will end when they face Calvary Baptist Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 2.
