Basketball Game Preview: Chelmsford Lions vs. Andover Golden Warriors

Chelmsford is 1-8 against Andover since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Chelmsford Lions will welcome the Andover Golden Warriors at 6:45 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Sunday, Chelmsford ended up a good deal behind Newton South and lost 55-40.

Meanwhile, Andover's undefeated season came to an end after seven games on Friday. They fell to North Andover 51-47. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Golden Warriors came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while the Scarlet Knights are ranked 30th).

Having lost for the first time this season, Andover fell to 7-1. As for Chelmsford, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
