Volleyball Recap: Taylorsville Comes Up Short

Taylorsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bonneville Lakers.

Taylorsville took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-14, 22-25, 25-20, 15-7.

Taylorsville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bonneville, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Taylorsville will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cedar Valley at 6:30 p.m. on the 19th. As for Bonneville, they will face off against Ogden at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
